Personal Development is Key to Improving Your Lifestyle!

"The height of foolishness is to discard an opportunity without full and proper investigation."  Benjamin Franklin

It's been said and proven that to change your life, you have to change your thoughts and activities related to those new thoughts.

It took me 15 years and over $150K before I understood the importance of imitating success and doing a few things consistently even while in an environment where most of my peers and family members continue to listen to others who are happy with getting: 10 days off a year, a bi-weekly paycheck, the latest world events, a social security check, sharing the latest advice on how not to be a "victim" of someone or something else or pressuring the company for pay raises or promises of job security (the BIG LIE).

You must make investments in yourself, including reassessing where you are and making adjustments to get where you want to be.  Don't get hung up on money ... but realize it does affect just about everything that is important to most of your life.  From giving more to your church to doing more for those who deserve assistance in your community to regaining your sanity.

The following resources are designed to help you grow with us, help others you care about and create the lifestyle you want ...

  • Freedom Essay - You need this to help you survive the journey through the jungle of change.
  • Jim Rohn - In March 1987, one of Jim's books, "7 Strategies for Wealth & Happiness," provided me excellent awakenings to begin my mental transition for growth. Click link below now to get started ...

  • Les Brown Motivational Archive - Les has helped me tremendously with his excellent "story telling" style ... his truisms will surprise you, make you laugh, and help you determine if you are "hungry" enough.
  • Click here to visit his archive -- be sure to listen to the 22 Sep 2008 MP3 with Dr Charles Phillips.
  • Motivational Tools - Listen to Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy, Bob Proctor, John Maxwell and more ... There are some excellent samples you can listen to at this site before you spend any money.  We like that idea.
  • No Goals, No Glory - This is one of the hardest things to consistently do.  As Blair states, on a scale of 1 to 10, goals would be an 11.  Learn how to set and achieve anything you want by clicking here.
Sad Statistics - Of every 100 people who start out at some level of equality ... after 40 Years of Work ...

1 will be WEALTHY
4 will be INDEPENDENT
5 will still be WORKING
36 will be DEAD
54 will be DEAD BROKE

It's been said that we have more money in the bank at 18 than we do at age 65. Sad. True. ... but Why?

STOP & THINK!

There are two major factors that has affected people for the last 38 years:

1) Job Dissatisfaction
  • Statistic:  8 out of 10 people are not happy with their job
  • Why: a) not making enough money, b) no room for advancement, c) no freedom
2) Inflation and Taxation Statistics
  • In 1967, person making $7,500 per year, paid $200 in taxes
  • In 1978, person making $15,000 per year, paid $1,700 in taxes
  • In 1990, person making $35,000 per year, paid $8,000 in taxes
  • In 2004, a single person making $29,050 to $70,350 per year, paid $4,000 to $14,325 in taxes
  • In 2004, married joint filers making $58,100 to $117,250 per year, paid $8,000 to $22,788 in taxes
Solution - Look for tools and programs to help you ...
  • Cut your expenses
  • Increase your income, preferably using residual (work hard once and get paid continuously) methods
  • Never give up on your dreams!
Regardless of how far off these numbers are ... they are still sad.  Review them, assess where you are and then do those things required to get to your lifestyle level. Remember, statistics are working against YOU.  So to get something that you have never had, you must do something that you have never done. It's foolish to expect a change in your situation will occur just because you wish it ... YOU HAVE TO CHANGE!
